Jewelry Care
Jewelry Care
At VIONAREL, every jewelry piece is crafted to be enjoyed for years with proper care. Following these simple care guidelines will help maintain the beauty, brilliance, and finish of your jewelry.
Daily Wear
Our jewelry is designed for everyday enjoyment, but removing your jewelry during certain activities can help preserve its appearance.
We recommend removing your jewelry before:
- Exercising or playing sports
- Swimming in pools, hot tubs, or the ocean
- Showering or bathing
- Sleeping
- Household cleaning
- Gardening or heavy physical work
Avoid Chemicals
To help protect the finish and brilliance of your jewelry, avoid direct contact with:
- Perfumes
- Lotions and creams
- Hair sprays
- Cosmetics
- Household cleaning products
- Chlorine
- Bleach
- Other harsh chemicals
Apply beauty products before putting on your jewelry.
Cleaning Your Jewelry
For regular cleaning:
- Prepare a bowl of lukewarm water with a small amount of mild dish soap.
- Soak the jewelry for a few minutes.
- Gently clean with a soft brush or lint-free cloth.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Dry completely with a soft microfiber or jewelry polishing cloth.
Avoid abrasive cleaners, ultrasonic cleaners (unless recommended for your specific item), or harsh polishing compounds.
Proper Storage
When your jewelry is not being worn:
- Store each piece separately to help prevent scratches.
- Use the original VIONAREL jewelry box or a soft jewelry pouch whenever possible.
- Keep jewelry in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity.
Proper storage helps reduce wear and protects the finish of your jewelry.
Caring for Moissanite
Moissanite is highly durable and maintains exceptional brilliance with routine care.
To keep your moissanite sparkling:
- Clean it regularly using mild soap and warm water.
- Wipe with a soft polishing cloth after wearing.
- Avoid exposing the stone to harsh chemicals.
Routine cleaning helps remove oils and residue that may reduce brilliance.
Caring for Sterling Silver
925 Sterling Silver may naturally develop slight tarnish over time due to exposure to air and moisture.
To maintain its appearance:
- Store in a dry environment.
- Clean gently with a silver polishing cloth.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to water and chemicals.
This natural process does not affect the quality of the metal.
Gold-Plated Jewelry Care
Gold-plated finishes require gentle handling to help preserve their appearance.
To extend the life of the finish:
- Avoid excessive friction.
- Remove jewelry before swimming or showering.
- Keep away from perfumes and lotions.
- Store separately from other jewelry.
Over time, normal wear may gradually affect plated finishes.
Professional Inspection
If you wear your jewelry frequently, we recommend inspecting it periodically for loose stones, worn prongs, or other signs of wear.
If you notice anything unusual, please contact our customer support team before continuing to wear the item.
